May 22, 2018—Cawston, BC: The IndigenEYEZ Youth Panel continues with Part 2 “ImagineNATION & Camp History.”
Host Madeline Terbasket speaks with three Indigenous youth, Colton Sterling-Moses, Natalie Sterling-Moses, and Emma Cohen, who excitedly share their experiences of IndigenEYEZ camps.
In this episode the Youth Panel covers topics such as the differences between camp years and locations, as well as what camp experience is like for shy youth.
“Camp activities don’t glorify the people who are the most outspoken – IndigenEYEZ Facilitators still find ways to bring out your strengths even when you are one of the more quiet youth.” – Emma Cohen
Stay tuned for Part 3 next week, where the Youth Panel reviews comfort, ease, and discovering the courage to inspire others. What does it take to make a difference and what is it like becoming a Youth Facilitator? What is a camp family group? Join us next week to find out.
