Partnership with UBC

Aug 2015—Fort St. John: Two of our facilitators travelled to the territory of the Woodland Cree to help a diverse group come together around sustainable use of water. Community members young and old came from across Treaty 8. They joined with land defenders, academics, farmers, and people from the oil and gas industry. IndigenEYEZ helped participants meet in a good way, connect with the land, and supported the inclusion of ceremony. This partnership with UBC research project Building Resilient Water Futures will continue for the next 7 years.
