Land & Culture

Thumb-Mod6

April 1, 2017—Vancouver, BC: Please join us in Vancouver for our final workshop. No previous involvement required.

This is a great chance to increase your land-based facilitation skills before the outdoor season begins. Strengthen your relationship to the land and the ancestors. Learn to better support youth and adults to connect with the natural world.

Land-based activities from the Rediscovery Program will open your senses. Remember the healing of simply being in nature. Participate in cultural activities and the sharing of traditional stories and songs.

Meet at the UBC Farm on Saturday at 9:30am (3461 Ross Drive). On Sunday, meet at 9:30 am at the Stanley Park Rose Garden. Be prepared to be outside for the day (9:30 am – 5 pm). Bring a bag lunch.
